Domestic and International candidates

AusHealth is committed to championing diversity within the workforce. We provide employers with an extensive range of variety in our candidates, such as religion, gender, age and cultural backgrounds. All overseas qualifications, registrations and certificates are validated, and records kept and maintained on file. Noncompliance with our requested criteria will result in an exclusion of employment.

Pre-Application checks & Assessment

AusHealth has created an initial assessment and screening process to identify qualified, industry experienced and job-ready candidates or alternatively, qualified candidates eligible for their industry standard designed programs. The assessment includes a full range of physical, acuity and psychometric testing, as well as reference checks, citing certified copies of qualification and other employment related documentation. All overseas qualifications, registrations and certificates are validated, and records kept and maintained on file.

Who are our
International Candidates?

All Candidates must initially meet the following criteria, before being assessed for AusHealth Staffing Program:
  • Have relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Have a high quality of related industry experience
  • Have an excellent level of English (reading and writing) at least equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0
  • Have participated in police checks in their native country as a matter of course
  • Meet all health requirements as outlined by the government and the position for which they are applying
  • Have adequate health insurance while in Australia
  • Are available to work up to 104 weeks with a minimum requirement of 38 hours a week
